Chaldean Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tehran

The Chaldean Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tehran is an ecclesiastical administrative body serving the Catholic community in Iran's capital and surrounding areas. It operates multiple parishes and mission centers that function as places for worship and religious programs.

The archdiocese was established in 1853 in Sanandaj and relocated its administrative center to Tehran in 1944 to better serve the expanding Catholic population. This move made it the primary Catholic ecclesiastical institution in the city.
