Borgomanero

Borgomanero is a town in the Province of Novara situated at 307 meters elevation in the Piedmont region, connected by multiple transportation routes to Milan, Turin, and Novara. It covers roughly 32 square kilometers and is home to around 20,500 residents with administrative services centered near Corso Cavour.

The settlement originally went by the name Burgus Sancti Leonardi before Jacob Mainerio transformed it into a military stronghold in the 12th century. This shift turned it into a strategic point that influenced the area for centuries to come.
