Triggiano is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Bari located in the southern region of Apulia. The town features a compact historic center with narrow streets and newer residential areas that expand toward the surrounding countryside.
The settlement originated as a medieval village rooted in agricultural activity near Bari. Over the centuries it gradually expanded from a rural farming community into a suburban municipality serving the nearby city.
The town is easily accessible from Bari by public transportation or car and offers typical suburban amenities. The old center is best explored on foot while the newer areas are designed mainly for through traffic.
