Spinea

Spinea is a town in the Metropolitan City of Venice in the Veneto region. Its center features a main square with a church and sits along important roads connecting Venice and Padua, with several neighborhoods and industrial areas spread across flat terrain typical of the Venetian plains.

The settlement developed during the Middle Ages as a community on the river plain between the Brenta and Piave rivers. The town grew during the 1900s due to its position near Venice and its role connecting the mainland with the lagoon area.

The town is easiest to reach by car or bus since it lies on the main road between Venice and Padua. The flat ground makes it easy to walk or cycle around, especially through the central and residential areas.
