Savoy Castle, Gothic Revival castle in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, Italy.

The castle features a rectangular central structure with five pointed turrets, constructed using gray freestone from local Chiappey, Gaby, and Donnas quarries.

Queen Margherita of Savoy ordered the construction of this summer residence in 1899, following her stays as a guest of the Beck Peccoz barons.

The interior contains original furnishings, tapestries, and decorative elements created by Turin craftsman Michele Dellera, displaying medieval-inspired artistry throughout the rooms.

The castle opens Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00 during October to March, and from 9:00 to 19:00 between April and September.

An underground Decauville railway system connects the castle's dining room to the kitchen building, demonstrating early 20th-century engineering innovation.
