Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, Renaissance house museum in Quadrilatero della moda, Milan, Italy
The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum exhibits Italian art pieces and decorative items from the 15th and 16th centuries within restored Renaissance-style rooms.
Two aristocratic brothers, Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, transformed their family residence into a Neo-Renaissance palace during the 1880s collecting period.
The museum maintains original furnishings and decorations across multiple rooms, including the Bevilacqua Room, Library Room, and Gallery of Arms.
The museum opens Thursday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:45 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM with regular tickets priced at 12 euros.
The collection includes Giovanni Bellini's 'St. Giustina' from 1470 and a Roman celestial globe dated 1579, displayed in their original historical context.
