Pollino National Park, National park in Cosenza, Matera and Potenza provinces, Italy.

The territory spans 192,565 hectares across Calabria and Basilicata regions, containing mountain ranges, forests, grasslands, and numerous river systems.

The area received regional park designation in 1985 before becoming a national park in 1991 to protect the last Italian population of Bosnian pines.

The park encompasses 56 municipalities, where communities maintain traditional practices, including Albanian-speaking populations in specific communes.

Visitors can purchase official trail maps at authorized points to navigate the extensive network of paths for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.

Within the park stands a 1,230-year-old Heldreich's pine, documented as the oldest known tree in Europe.
