Museo archeologico di Terni

The Museo archeologico di Terni displays extensive collections of artifacts discovered during excavations throughout the province of Terni, occupying 450 square meters of exhibition space.

The museum opened in 2004 to preserve and present archaeological findings from the pre-Roman Etruscan city, including funerary objects and reconstructed tombs from ancient settlements.

The collection features epigraphic inscriptions, Roman statues from Interamna Nahars, and Italic temple remains that represent the regional development through different historical periods.

Located at Via Franco Mole 10 in Terni, the museum provides wheelchair accessibility and maintains regular visiting hours for the public throughout the year.

The museum houses the foundation inscription of Terni city and preserves artifacts from Elia Rossi Passavanti's personal collection, which he donated to the municipality.
