Description
Ca' Farsetti is a medieval palace in San Marco beside the Rialto Bridge that rises across three stories. Its ground floor features a loggia with Corinthian columns, while the main level has fifteen connected arcades running along the facade.
History
The family of Doge Enrico Dandolo built the structure in the early 1300s. A major fire in 1524 damaged it considerably, though it was later restored and continued in use.

The building shows a mix of Byzantine arches and Venetian design elements that you can see in its columns and walkways. This combination reflects how the city absorbed different architectural influences over time and made them its own.
Practical
The building now functions as Venice's town hall and administrative center. It is best viewed from the street, where you can see the full facade and its architectural details without needing special access.
