The Villa Contarini extends over 180 meters in length and contains multiple wings, decorated with telamon sculptures and a rusticated ground floor.
The central building, started in 1546 by Paolo and Francesco Contarini, underwent major expansion in the 1670s under Marco Contarini's direction.
The grand hall of Villa Contarini regularly hosted theatrical performances, accommodating up to 1000 guests with elaborate musical productions and celebrations.
The villa opens daily except Wednesdays, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM during summer months and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in winter.
The property includes 40 hectares of landscaped grounds with fish ponds, a lake, and canals, providing a habitat for local wildlife.
