Notable works like The Battle of Magenta display dramatic historical scenes with intense colors and movement that capture viewers' attention immediately. The gallery rooms themselves retain furnishings and decorative elements from the Medici period, creating the sensation of walking through an aristocratic residence rather than a typical modern museum.
