Parco fluviale del Tevere, Protected regional park along Tiber River in Perugia and Terni, Italy.

Parco fluviale del Tevere is a protected regional park stretching along a major section of the Tiber River, linking several municipalities across two provinces. The land includes forested areas, meadows, steep banks, and river curves where woodland, open grassland, and exposed rocky slopes meet the water.

The river has shaped the landscape since ancient times, carving terraces where early communities first settled and built their homes. Over time, different peoples arrived and established villages here, drawn by the fertile surroundings and the river's resources.

The river valley has been home to different communities across the centuries, each leaving marks on the land and shaping how people see this place. Today, locals view the Tiber as a connection between past and present, a living part of their identity.

The park features an extensive network of marked trails running alongside the river, connecting different landscapes and attractions throughout the area. Visitors will find routes of varying difficulty, making it possible to explore on foot at their own pace and discover sites along the way.

Near Scoppieto lie the remains of a Roman pottery workshop that produced goods for markets across the Mediterranean region. This production site reveals how river trade was essential to the economic life of the area in ancient times.
