Parco fluviale del Tevere is a protected regional park stretching along a major section of the Tiber River, linking several municipalities across two provinces. The land includes forested areas, meadows, steep banks, and river curves where woodland, open grassland, and exposed rocky slopes meet the water.

Near Scoppieto lie the remains of a Roman pottery workshop that produced goods for markets across the Mediterranean region. This production site reveals how river trade was essential to the economic life of the area in ancient times.
