Basilica Autarena di Fara Gera d'Adda

The Basilica Autarena features a single nave with a polygonal apse, and its external walls display flat lesenes connected by semicircular arches.

Constructed during the 6th century by Lombard king Autari, the church was initially dedicated to Saint Alexander, as documented in Charles the Bald's diploma from 883.
