Biblioteca civica Gambalunga

Biblioteca civica Gambalunga is a public library housed in a Renaissance palace in central Rimini, containing around 300,000 books, manuscripts, and historical documents spanning multiple centuries. Local lawyer Alessandro Gambalunga founded this library in 1619 as one of Italy's first public collections accessible to ordinary people. The institution shaped how residents engaged with knowledge and learning across generations.
