Palazzo del Podestà, Medieval palace in Piazza Cavour, Rimini, Italy
The Palazzo del Podestà features three Gothic frontal arches on the ground floor and five smaller windows with battlements on the upper level.
Built in 1334, the palace served as the seat of local government administration, with its central arch used for public executions during medieval times.
The palace currently functions as part of the Museum of Contemporary Art Rimini, displaying works from the San Patrignano Foundation Collection.
Visitors can reach the palace by taking the A14 motorway exit 'Rimini Sud' and following signs to the city center for 3 kilometers.
The structure underwent substantial transformations between 1912 and 1922 under architect Gaspare Rastrelli, adapting its medieval features for modern use.
