The Santissima Annunziata features a single nave with an elevated presbytery and displays a multicolored marble temple at its center.
Construction of the church commenced in 1474 under the direction of Master Biagio of Florence and Martine of Lugano.
The church holds a significant artwork titled Adoration of the Magi by Luca Cambiaso and contains a lunette depicting the Creation.
Two fifteenth-century cloisters from the former Augustinian convent remain accessible to visitors exploring the church grounds.
A window at the altar base reveals the effigy of a miraculous aedicule, connecting to the legend of the Virgin Mary speaking to a child.
