Santi Gervasio e Protasio

The Santi Gervasio e Protasio church features a Latin cross layout with a single nave and a large transept covered by a dome.

Construction of the church began in 1806 following the will of Duke Gian Galeazzo Serbelloni, who appointed architect Simone Cantoni for the project.

The interior decorations include more than thirty artistic works created by the renowned sculptor Benedetto Cacciatori during the nineteenth century.

Located in Piazza della Chiesa, the church maintains regular opening hours and follows the Ambrosian Rite under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan.

The building complex includes two symmetrical structures: the Oratory of Holy Trinity on the right and the Serbelloni Mausoleum on the left.
