Église Saint-François, Catholic church in Saronno, Italy.

The church features a three-nave structure with a wooden vault covering the main nave and a brick tiburio rising above the building.

Originally known as Parish Church of San Pietro, the structure was rebuilt in 1297 along with an adjoining convent attributed to Saint Anthony of Padua.

The central nave contains a series of frescoes by Father Ambrogio, while twelve chapels display paintings by artists including Tommaso Legnani and Legnanino.

The church stands as a national monument since 1931, with its historical documents preserved at the State Archives of Milan for research purposes.

A Roman altar from the first or second century remains preserved outside the church, bearing the inscription Quintus Cassius Mercator Deis Deabus.
