The San Nicola di Silanis church exhibits characteristic Romanesque features with semi-circular arches, cross vaults, and an apse topped with a semicatino vault.
Built in 1122, the church was donated through a deed signed by Furatu de Gitil and Susanna de Zori, whose names remain carved on the facade.
The capitals display Corinthian details that reflect classical influences, while the pediment incorporates Egg-and-dart motifs similar to Sant'Alessandro church in Lucca.
The structure measures 6 meters by 12 meters and stands at coordinates 40°30'22"N latitude and 8°29'35"E longitude in northern Sardinia.
The remaining column of the presbytery and architectural elements share design elements with the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres.
