Monte Minerva

Monte Minerva rises to 644 meters above sea level, featuring a flat plateau that extends 2.5 kilometers in length with an average width of 500 meters.

The mountain area contains archaeological remains including ancient burial grounds called Domus de Janas, dating from the Neolithic period at the base of the elevation.

The surrounding territory preserves traditional Sardinian practices, with local communities maintaining textile art production and basket weaving techniques passed through generations.

Visitors can access Monte Minerva through multiple routes, including the S.P. n.19 from Bosa or the SS n. 292 from Alghero, with trails available for hiking.

The mountain houses temporary wetland areas containing endemic flora species and provides nesting sites for raptors, earning recognition as a Site of Community Interest.
