San Tiburzio, Baroque church in Parma, Italy
The church features a Greek cross layout with an octagonal dome and a two-level facade adorned with semi-columns and Ionic capitals.
Construction of San Tiburzio started in 1720 under architect Edelberto dalla Nave, continuing the legacy of a fifth-century religious structure on this location.
The interior houses statues of Faith and Charity near the entrance, with additional sculptures of Saint Philip Neri and Saint Charles Borromeo on the entablature.
The building, managed by ASP Parma, functions as both a religious structure and an exhibition space located at Borgo Palmia 6A.
In 2020, San Tiburzio transformed into an art venue featuring Florilegium, an installation of 200,000 dried flowers suspended from the ceiling.
