Sant'Agostino, Romanesque church in Pietrasanta, Italy.

The church exhibits a single nave with three-level marble flooring, following the natural slope of the terrain at the foot of a hill.

Founded in 1101, the church incorporated Gothic elements in the 14th century through donations from wealthy merchants of Lucca.

The church walls display numerous frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, including the notable Annunciation painting by Jean Imbert.

The adjacent former monastery now houses the Municipal Library and the Museum of Sketches, which contains works by international sculptors.

Father Eugenio Barsanti, who contributed to the invention of the internal combustion engine, celebrated his first masses in this church.
