Santa Pudenziana, Medieval church in Narni, Italy

The Santa Pudenziana church features three aisles supported by columns, with a prominent bell tower rising above its decorated facade with multiple windows.

Initially named Santa Maria di Visciano in 1129, this church was constructed at the end of the 10th century using materials from ancient Roman villas.

The church celebrates Saint Pudenziana every May 19th, maintaining a strong connection to its patron saint through religious ceremonies and local traditions.

Visitors can access Santa Pudenziana by following a one-kilometer trail from Via Tiberina to Visciano village, where parking spaces are available.

The church facade incorporates a perpetual calendar window and a mysterious tombstone with enigmatic numbers and the inscription PESAC.
