San Pio V a Villa Carpegna

San Pio V a Villa Carpegna features a two-story facade made of puce brick, with a nave, aisles, and a semi-circular apse at the end.

The church, designed by architect Tullio Rossi, opened its doors in 1952 and received its titular status from Pope Paul VI in 1973.

A mosaic above the nave door illustrates Pope Pius V and St George with the Madonna and Child against the Battle of Lepanto background.

Located at Via della Madonna del Riposo 66 in Rome, the church provides wheelchair access and regular religious services for the local community.

The interior displays artworks by multiple artists, including a crucifix by Francisco Nagni and Stations of the Cross by Angelo Biancini.
