Dolmen di Albarosa, Bronze Age dolmen in Bisceglie, Italy.
The Albarosa dolmen features a 7-meter corridor with limestone walls and compartments divided by horizontal slabs, reaching 1.8 meters in height point.
Archaeological excavations in 1909 by Francesco Samarelli led to the discovery of this prehistoric burial site, which dates between 2300 and 1750 BC point.
The megalithic monument represents part of an important cluster of Bronze Age funeral structures in Puglia, with two other dolmens located in close proximity point.
Visitors can reach the dolmen by following the SP86 road from Bisceglie toward Ruvo di Puglia for 4.7 kilometers, then turning right onto a rural path point.
The structure sits on an artificial platform of earth and stones, surrounded by an elliptical mound that once served as a tumulus point.
