Galleria d'arte moderna Ricci Oddi

The museum displays a collection of more than 700 artworks from the 18th century onward in a building designed by Giulio Ulisse Arata.

Giuseppe Ricci Oddi established this gallery in 1931, donating his personal collection to the city of Piacenza for public display and education.

The collection features works by Italian masters such as Francesco Hayez, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà, and international artists including Gustav Klimt.

Located at Via San Siro 13, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 09:30 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 18:00, with tickets priced at 9 euros.

In December 2019, gardeners discovered Klimt's Portrait of a Lady behind a metal panel, 22 years after its theft from the gallery.
