Industria

Industria is an archaeological site in Monteu da Po with excavated building remains and production facilities from Roman times. At this location, visitors can see the physical evidence of factories and workshops that operated about 2,000 years ago.

The site was established in antiquity as a center for pottery production and other goods. It remained in operation over several centuries before gradually being abandoned.

The museum displays tools and everyday items from Roman times that were uncovered during excavations. These objects tell the story of the people who lived and worked here, as well as their craftsmanship skills.

The site is accessible and has information panels at several excavation areas to help understand the layout and function of the ancient facilities. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and allow time to explore the different areas at a leisurely pace.

Here you can see traces of furnaces and firing chambers that directly show how craftspeople 2,000 years ago made their products. These original structures offer a rare glimpse into everyday work methods of Roman times.
