Monte Tamai

Monte Tamai is a 1970-meter summit in the Southern Carnic Alps situated between the Canale di San Pietro and Canale di Gorto valleys. The mountain presents varied slopes and is accessible from multiple approach routes.

The mountain was shaped by geological processes that created layers of early Triassic rock, with the lower sections containing Werfen period stone and upper areas made of Serla dolomite. This composition defines the physical character of the summit.
