The Museo Borgogna exhibits over 800 artworks including paintings, frescoes, sculptures, and tapestries distributed across three expansive floors of Palazzo Borgogna.
Established in 1907 by Antonio Borgogna and Vincenzo Laviny, the museum received additional works in 1932 from the Institute of Fine Arts and former religious buildings.
The collection features works by Italian masters Titian, Bernardino Luini, and Francesco Francia, alongside Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 15th to 20th centuries.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM, Saturdays 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Sundays 10 AM to 12:30 PM plus 2 PM to 6 PM.
A bronze bust of Antonio Borgogna, created by Francesco Porzio in 1910, greets visitors at the entrance of this national heritage institution.
