Maritime Museum of Cesenatico

The Maritime Museum of Cesenatico displays traditional fishing vessels and maritime artifacts in both indoor exhibitions and outdoor floating sections along Porto Canale.

The museum, established in 1983, preserves the naval heritage of the Adriatic coast through a collection of ten historical fishing boats from the past two centuries.

The ground floor exhibits present construction materials, ancient anchors, and two 17th-century vessel wrecks that demonstrate the evolution of shipbuilding techniques.

The museum operates during weekends and holidays from 10 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 7 PM, with extended hours starting mid-April.

During Christmas, the museum's harbor transforms into a Maritime Nativity scene where life-size statues are positioned on historical vessels with illuminated displays.
