Palazzo Acciaiuoli, Renaissance palazzo in historic center, Florence, Italy

The Palazzo Acciaiuoli stands near Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, connecting Ponte Vecchio with Ponte Santa Trinita along the Arno River.

The palace was established in 1341 by Niccolò Acciaiuoli, who served as Grand Seniscalco, Prime Minister, and Constable of Florence.

The palazzo features fifteenth-century architectural elements with stone details contrasting against light-colored plaster backgrounds across three distinct floors.

Current visitors can find the building at Borgo Santi Apostoli 10, near the Piazza del Limbo and Santissimi Apostoli Church.

The tower of Palazzo Acciaiuoli remains the tallest private structure in Florence, surviving historical destructions including World War II bombings.
