Palazzo Bastogi, 18th-century palazzo in Via dell'Oriuolo, Florence, Italy
The palazzo features a grand facade with six axes across three floors, adorned with seasonal masks and double doors framed by semicolumns.
The Bargilli Sarchi family initiated construction in 1735, and the building later became property of the wealthy industrial Bastogi family in 1910.
The consultation room of the Historical Archive displays early 19th-century decorations with yellow columns and white stucco, originally designed for music and dancing.
The Historical Archive of Florence, housed in Palazzo Bastogi since 1976, maintains collections of municipal documents for research and consultation.
The palazzo's garden transformed into Teatro dell'Oriuolo in 1951, serving as a theater venue until structural issues forced its closure in 1993.
