Palazzo degli Uffici Statali stands at the intersection of Via delle Torri and Corso Mazzini as a large administrative building with a loggia on the ground floor. Its interior is divided into roughly 300 rooms that house various government departments.

The building was constructed between 1935 and 1936, replacing several older palaces and residences that were demolished. Its construction occurred during a period of major urban transformation.

The building displays classical Roman architectural elements, particularly visible in its ground-floor porticoes. This design merges ancient forms with the modern construction approaches of its era.

A tower that once crowned the building was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1944, permanently altering its original roofline. This change remains visible in the structure today.
