Palazzo della Cavallerizza, Medieval palace near Agri River in Sant'Arcangelo, Italy

The palace features a C-shaped structure with frescoed halls, throne room, and a 200-meter-long covered arcade next to the stables.

Built in the 14th century by the Della Marra family from Barletta, the palace passed through ownership of Carafa, Colonna, and Scardaccione families.

The palace served as a residence for feudal families and contained one of southern Italy's most important horse breeding and training centers.

Located three kilometers from Sant'Arcangelo's town center, the palace stands near the banks of the Agri River in Basilicata region.

The palace included a covered training corridor measuring 200 meters in length and 8 meters in width for military horse dressage.
