Pinacoteca Stuard

Pinacoteca Stuard is an art museum in Parma that displays paintings from the 1300s through the mid-20th century across 22 rooms. The building is a former Benedictine monastery where artworks are arranged chronologically to guide visitors through changing styles over time.

Giuseppe Stuard, an art collector from Parma who lived between 1790 and 1834, gathered a significant group of paintings during his lifetime. When he died, his collection was donated to the Church of St. Filippo Neri and later became the foundation of this museum.
