Parco Bosco dei Ronchi e Parco ex-ILA, Public park in Legnano, Italy

Parco Bosco dei Ronchi e Parco ex-ILA are two urban green areas in Legnano, not adjacent but close, forming a single protected municipal area of 260,000 m². The Bosco dei Ronchi is unfenced and open, while the ex-ILA park is enclosed by a wall and has been open to the public on weekends since 2016. The ex-ILA park covers 80,000 m² and contains 1920s Liberty-style buildings from the former sanatorium.

The grounds were originally a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients founded in 1923, shaping the early 20th century cityscape. After conversion to a public park, the site preserves some original buildings now part of the urban heritage.

The name ex-ILA comes from the Istituto Legnanese di Assistenza, the local body that cared for tuberculosis patients. The Parco ex-ILA surrounds the former sanatorium Regina Elena, inaugurated in 1923, and its grounds hold several Liberty-style buildings from the 1920s that belonged to the sanatorium complex. Since 2016 the walled park opens to the public every weekend.

The two parks are separate and not adjacent, though both lie within Legnano and form one protected municipal area created by council resolution no. 62 of 12 March 1992. Parco Bosco dei Ronchi has no fence and is freely accessible; Parco ex-ILA is enclosed, and its entrance on via Colli di Sant'Erasmo has been open to the public every weekend since 2016.
