Casa del Balilla, Italian national heritage building in Legnano, Italy.

Casa del Balilla is a building with rationalist architecture in Legnano that offered spacious areas and facilities for sports and leisure activities. The structure displays typical features of this style with exposed brick, polished serizzo stone, and large windows across two floors.

The building was completed in 1933 according to designs by engineer Giuseppe Moro and architect Giorgio Laneve. It was created as a project of the Operazione Nazionale Balilla, a youth organization of that era.

The building served as a gathering place where young people and athletes trained and spent time together. The spaces reflect the era's focus on physical fitness and community activities.

The building sits on Via Milano in central Legnano and is easily reachable from the town center. Wide staircases and large entrances provide good accessibility for visitors.

The roof features two expansive terraces that were specifically designed for heliotherapy treatments. This practice was part of popular health and wellness ideas in the 1930s.
