Rifugio Città di Lissone, Mountain hut in Saviore dell'Adamello, Italy
Rifugio Città di Lissone is a mountain hut located at 2017 meters elevation in Val Camonica with 54 beds and dining for about 50 guests indoors. The facility provides basic amenities including hot showers, electricity, and sheet rentals for overnight stays.
The building was formerly owned by Enel and served as barracks during the White War in the Adamello region. It was transformed into a mountain refuge in the 1970s and has provided shelter for hikers and climbers since then.
The refuge kitchen prepares regional dishes using ingredients from local producers, particularly sourcing fresh products from the nearby Malga Adamè. Meals reflect mountain traditions and connect visitors to local flavors and the surrounding landscape.
The mountain hut operates seasonally, so it is important to verify availability by phone before visiting. Checking ahead ensures the refuge is open and helps confirm what facilities will be available during your stay.
An artificial reservoir near the refuge collects water from Poia creek to supply the facility. A dedicated cableway connects the refuge to Malga Lincino below and transports supplies up the mountain.
