Villa Massoni, Renaissance villa in Massa, Italy

The villa features a central terrace with columns and two lateral wings, positioned near the path leading to the city castle.

In 1637, Prince Carlo I Cybo-Malaspina purchased the villa for 2,500 pieces of currency, marking the beginning of its aristocratic period.

The architectural design incorporates influences from Genoese and Roman styles, with terraced gardens reflecting 17th-century Italian garden traditions.

The villa currently stands in deteriorated condition and remains closed to visitors due to ongoing legal disputes among heirs.

The property experienced a period as an agricultural estate in the 18th century before Napoleon's sister, Elisa Bonaparte, established residence there.
