Villa Pagana, Noble residence in San Michele di Pagana, Italy

The two-story villa stands on Punta Pagana peninsula, featuring a private park that extends to the Ligurian Sea coastline.

The Orero family commissioned the construction of Villa Pagana in the 1600s, later selling it to Marquis Pier Francesco Cattaneo in the mid-17th century.

Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies and Queen Margherita of Savoy selected this villa as their temporary residence during their visits to Liguria.

The property now functions as a magisterial residence of the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta since 1959.

The villa grounds include a 17th-century fort, Castello di Punta Pagana, which was built by the Republic of Genoa for coastal defense.
