Il Pertini

Il Pertini is a public library in Cinisello Balsamo built across four floors with a contemporary design that houses reading spaces, study areas, and multimedia collections. The entire building is accessible without stairs or barriers, making it easy for everyone to move through and use the resources available.

The library opened in September 2012 as a new cultural facility for the city. Its creation marked an effort to strengthen education and access to information in Cinisello Balsamo.

The space hosts reading groups and creative workshops that bring people together to learn and share ideas. These gatherings reflect how the community uses the building as a place for connection beyond just borrowing books.

The library operates branch lending points called FuoriPertini scattered across different neighborhoods of the city. This approach brings services closer to residents who might not otherwise visit the main building.
