Litta Cusini Modignani Palace stands at 16 Corso Europa with a sober Baroque facade of strongly horizontal lines, centred on a recessed arched portal. Inside is a 16th-century courtyard porticoed with Tuscan columns; a cryptoporticus once led to a second courtyard, now annexed to the 20th-century Palazzo Cusini on Via Durini. The interior keeps a scissors staircase, a gallery and a chapel with frescoes and stuccoes by Giocondo Albertolli, Andrea Appiani and Giuseppe Crivelli.

Alberto Litta bought two buildings on the contrada Passarella in the 1480s and joined them into a single palace. In the 17th century his descendant Camillo Litta had it extensively remodelled. Mid-18th century, after three more buildings were incorporated, Alessandro Litta built the sober Baroque facade; Eugenio Litta then added the scissors staircase. In the 19th century the property reached Via Durini and passed to the Cusini, then the Modignani; since 1984 it belongs to Centrobanca.

Inside, the palace keeps frescoes and stuccoes by Giocondo Albertolli, Andrea Appiani and Giuseppe Crivelli, in rooms that include a gallery and a chapel. The name recalls the families who owned it: the Littas, who built it, then the Cusini and the Modignani. Since 1984 it has belonged to Centrobanca and now houses offices and banking firms.

The palace is at Corso Europa 16, its entrance set in the flat-arched portal at the centre of the facade; the 16th-century Tuscan-columned courtyard lies behind it. The building now houses offices and banking firms, so the interior is not open as a museum and visits depend on the institutions based there.

The palace's scissor staircase was modelled on the much larger one in the family's other residence, Palazzo Litta on Corso Magenta. Inside, a gallery and a chapel retain frescoes and stuccoes by Giocondo Albertolli, Andrea Appiani and Giuseppe Crivelli.
