Palazzo delle Poste, Post office building in Sabaudia, Italy.
The Palazzo delle Poste stands on Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, featuring large windows framed with red Siena marble and surfaces covered in azure mosaic tiles.
Architect Angiolo Mazzoni designed this rationalist structure between 1932 and 1934, during the establishment of Sabaudia as a new planned city.
The building embodies Italian rationalist architecture principles of the 1930s through its aerodynamic forms and geometric composition, reflecting the Futurist movement.
The structure maintains its original function as a post office, with a main hall accessible through an elevated entrance reached by a central staircase.
The entire exterior surface of the single-story building displays blue mosaic tiles, representing the color of the House of Savoy royal family.
