Palazzo Albani, Renaissance palace in Urbino, Italy

The Palazzo Albani extends over four floors with a trapezoidal layout and features a central rectangular courtyard with stone balustrades.

The palace, built in the second half of the 15th century by Albanian mercenaries, underwent major renovations during the early 18th century under Cardinal Annibale.

The interior spaces contain notable artistic elements, including stucco work by Luigi Vanvitelli and landscape frescoes by Alessio De Marchis.

The University of Urbino currently owns the palace, housing administrative offices, restoration laboratories, and departments focused on humanities studies.

The building incorporates two distinct courtyards, with the larger rectangular space overlooking a smaller quadrilateral area through decorated stone balustrades.
