Parco Ducale, Public garden in Parma, Italy

A garden extending over 208,700 square meters in the Oltretorrente district, next to the Parma stream, features a central boulevard lined with statues.

Duke Ottavio Farnese initiated the garden's creation in 1560, purchasing land around a new villa built where the Ghiara castle previously stood.

The garden contains numerous marble statues sculpted by Jean Baptiste Boudard between 1753 and 1766, representing classical and mythological figures.

The park maintains several entrances accessible from the city center, with paved paths connecting major garden features including the central pond.

The central pond includes an island holding the Trianon fountain, transferred from Colorno Ducal Palace and restored in 1996.
