Monument to the Meeting of Teano

The Monument to the Meeting of Teano is a bronze sculpture in Piazza Mino showing two men on horseback facing each other directly and shaking hands. The figures are life-sized and finely detailed in their execution.

Artist Oreste Calzolari created this work in 1906 as a memorial to a meeting that took place at a bridge in 1860. The original ensemble also included a stone obelisk that was destroyed during World War II.
