The Sant'Ignazio church sits on a mountain peak above the Valli di Lanzo, presenting a Neoclassical design with two interior rock formations supporting the altar.
Following reported wolf attacks on sheep and children in 1626, local residents constructed a chapel at this location in 1629 as a response to the incidents.
The sanctuary contains numerous religious artworks, including frescoes and a central altar designed by Bernardo Vittone, demonstrating the architectural preferences of the period.
The church maintains its function as a spiritual retreat center, offering guided tours led by volunteers and regular religious services throughout the year.
Two natural rock formations inside the church serve specific purposes: one supports the main altar while another holds a statue of Saint Ignatius.
