Villa Sacro Cuore, Religious villa in Tregasio, Italy
The villa features a central four-story nucleus with two lower wings, creating an entrance court surrounded by extensive parkland and gardens.
Built in 1922 under engineer Spirito Maria Chiappetta's direction, the villa replaced an earlier structure dating back to 1523 owned by the Morigia family.
Four chapels within the villa complex demonstrate different architectural periods, with three designed by Chiappetta and one dating to Cardinal Borromeo's era.
Located at Via Sacro Cuore 7 in Triuggio, the villa serves as a spiritual center under the management of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan.
A 4.80-meter statue of the Sacred Heart stands atop the main building, installed during the 1922 inauguration of the renovated villa complex.
