Museo archeologico di Lentini

The Archaeological Museum in Lentini houses finds spanning thousands of years of history, from the earliest human traces to objects from the Roman era. The exhibition is organized by time periods and displays items from excavations across the surrounding area.

The museum emerged in the 1950s as a response to the many finds discovered in the ancient city of Leontinoi and its surroundings. This region was once an important place for different cultures, from the earliest settlers to the Greeks and Romans.
