Art Aia-Creatives / In / Residence

The residency provides spaces for artistic production and research, combining creative development with environmental sustainability practices in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

The building, originally owned by the Counts Bion of Padua in the eighteenth century, belonged to the Abbey of Santa Maria in Sylvis before becoming an agricultural center.

Artists from multiple disciplines participate in residency programs, creating photographs, drawings, sculptures, and textiles while engaging with the local community.

The center operates from Wednesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, offering structured programs for individual artists and creative collectives.

The center maintains a subsidiary in Berlin called La Dolce Berlin, which functions as both an artist space and film production facility.
